About the position
The Group Manager will be responsible for:
- Overall management of the IFO Group Certification scheme
- Ensuring compliance of members with the group certification standards
- Internal monitoring and communication with members
- Entry of new members
- Identifying and administering annual group training
- Liaising with all relevant stakeholders, including the Certification awarding body
- Arrangement of and preparation for annual audit in a timely manner.
About you
You will have:
- Experience in forest management and certification
- Comfortable with standards and QMS systems
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent IT and data management skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative
You will be:
- Willing to learn on the job
- Well organised and good at time management
- Confident about prioritising and delegating
- Fluent in English
Professional membership of the Society of Irish Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.
